Artist Statement: "I just like to paint... I have to paint. Or to quote Norman Rockwell, who said, 'I start each picture with the same high hopes, and if I never seem able to fulfill them I still try my darndest'."

Graduated from MUW with a Minor in Art

Continued studies in drawing and painting at:

High Museum School of Art in Atlanta, GA.
Studied under Paul Penczner, Memphis, TN.
Memphis Academy of Art, Memphis, TN.
Started work on MFA at Delta State University in painting.

Taught oil painting to private students in Greenville, MS.
Teaching oil painting now to private students here in Starkville.
